Becoming a mother changes everything — your body, your relationships, your work, and your sense of self. It’s a season of profound transformation, and yet most of the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support women receive stops at the surface level.

Hi, I’m Kayla and I created Mommerz to fill that gap. The name comes from a nickname my daughter gave me — playful, silly, and a reminder of the joy woven into even the hardest days of parenting. For me, it represents the shifting identities we carry as mothers. We are not just caretakers, but leaders, creators, visionaries, and women in transformation.

Alongside my work with perinatal women, I bring a diverse background as a coach, business consultant, and leadership and emotional intelligence speaker/workshop facilitator. For more than two decades, I’ve supported founders and teams in high-pressure environments, helping them navigate growth, transformation, and change. That experience taught me how to hold space, guide people through uncertainty, and foster resilience. These are skills that translate directly into birth work, postpartum support, and advocacy for working mothers.

With Mommerz, I merge both worlds: the evidence-based care and emotional support of a doula, with the coaching, mindset, and leadership tools that empower women to carry their strength forward long after birth. My approach includes yoga, perinatal nutrition, emotional intelligence, and postpartum planning, giving you holistic support that honors both your motherhood and your identity.

And when I’m not with my clients, you’ll find me enjoying life with my ballerina daughter, practicing yoga, writing my novel, or taking long walks on the trails here in Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas.
