From Boardrooms to Birth Rooms: Why I Built Mommerz
For most of my career, I helped founders build businesses.
Now, I help mothers rebuild themselves.
Both journeys have more in common than you might think.
In every boardroom, startup sprint, or keynote stage I’ve spoken on through my consulting company, one theme has always surfaced: growth requires transformation. And transformation - whether in business or birth - always begins in uncertainty.
The Pattern I Kept Seeing
In my consulting work, I supported founders and teams as they navigated scaling, chaos, and change. I saw brilliant people burn out trying to hold everything together - struggling not because they lacked vision, but because they lacked space: space to rest, recalibrate, and realign.
Then I became a mother.
Motherhood, too, is a startup of sorts, only this time, the “product” is a new version of you. Your body, your identity, your relationships, your career… everything iterates.
And yet, while founders often have coaches, advisors, and frameworks to guide them through growth, mothers are expected to simply “figure it out.”
That disconnect lit a fire in me.
The Birth of Mommerz
I created Mommerz to close the gap between the emotional intelligence I teach in leadership rooms and the holistic, evidence-based support I’ve learned through my birth doula training.
The name comes from my daughter’s nickname for me - playful, grounding, and full of joy even on hard days. It reminds me that transformation doesn’t have to mean losing ourselves; it can mean becoming more of who we are.
With Mommerz, I merge both worlds:
The strategic clarity of a seasoned consultant
The grounded compassion of a doula
The inner work and nervous-system awareness of a dedicated yogi
The science-based nourishment of a perinatal nutrition coach
Together, these tools help women prepare for birth, recovery, and the return-to-work transition with confidence and grace.
My Integrated Approach
Through Mommerz, you’ll find a full spectrum of support - physical, emotional, and professional.
My framework combines:
Yoga and breathwork to restore balance and body awareness
Perinatal nutrition to promote healing and vitality
Somatic and emotional intelligence coaching to navigate identity shifts
Practical postpartum planning to help you design support systems that actually work
Leadership tools to help you return to work with clarity, confidence, and purpose
Because the truth is, how we mother and how we lead are deeply intertwined.
Why It Matters
In both entrepreneurship and motherhood, burnout is not a badge of honor - it’s a signal for change.
By integrating my background in business strategy with holistic wellness, I help women embrace growth without self-sacrifice.
This is my mission:
To make sure women receive support through all the feelings and stages of motherhood.
Because mothers are founders, too - of families, futures, and entire generations of change.
A Little About Me
When I’m not coaching or supporting clients, you’ll find me soaking up life in Bentonville, Arkansas, with my ballerina daughter, walking the trails, or catching the sunrise with a matcha tea in hand. I’m a writer, a yoga practitioner, a dachshund devotee, and a lifelong student of what it means to lead with both strength and softness.
